That first one is pretty cool. Does it have the auto-brake feature if it detects skin conductivity? Should check it out*
*absolutely do not do this. I’m not sure if shears have that but table saws do now, and it’s the coolest shit ever.

I see an 80 series birfs and and spindle, 200 series (100 series?) CV and unit bearing and what looks to be a 100 series 3rd member.
Whats the jobber?

A ll good calls.
I’m doing detailing, engineering, and documentation for a local company that specializes in aftermarket Toyota parts, primarily Land Cruisers. I’m sure you can guess which.

Thanks! I’ve been searching since I was laid off at the end of March. Job hunting during COVID was less than enjoyable.

Congratulations!

Yay, congrats! School starts back up here next week...I’m worried about how COVID is going to affect sub teaching, but I’m glad some of us are doing OK on the job front!

Yeah, but
auto-brake feature
Maybe it’s just mis-labelled?

That’s why it’s all the better that you didn’t have to settle for a not so cool job.

Congrats on the new gig.
I would buy this today if it were available here.

They are available here. And they are too rich for us. And the tub tray is unavailable... primarily because no-one wants them.

Congratulations!

Just FYI, that’s not a shear, it’s a press brake

Congratulations man, looks like a fun place!

I’m not sure what the pricing is, but I can’t believe that it would be any more than the trucks sold here in the states.

Yeah, I realized after the edit window closed :(

The price on entry for the base version (and I do mean base) is around AU$78,000 ( US $57,000). Or well over double the cost of a base single cab chassis 4x4 Hilux.

Ouch! Well, at least you have that single cab Hilux 4x4 available. I’d buy one of those to, if it were available.
